Medium and Small marbles can go left on the Caret Splitter, which leads them to the Lowest Small-Medium Splitter.
Only Small marbles can go right from the Caret Splitter onto the Caret Splitter Right Track.
As of July 2025, I don't know how I will ensure this works. I thought a lot about it in episode 30, but realized the Outer Spiral will flow the wrong direction to make it work easily.
